E2 Visa – Andy – United Cafe Bar and Bistro

Taking Chances to Achieve your Dream

Many of our clients have a dream to come to the United States, but often believe that their dream will only remain a dream. Andy and his family visited the United States many times and wanted to reside here due to all of the benefits the United States has, the weather, the cost of living, the list goes on. Andy took the plunge one day and contacted our offices and learn about the E2 Treaty Trader Visa from our specialists, and the rest is well, history. Andy and his family are now well settled in their new home here in the US managing a thriving E2 Business in Florida. You too, could be among our successful immigrants to the US!

1. Tell me about where you are from and a little bit about your career and what you do.

My name is Andy Morgan and I’m from just outside London in the UK. I worked in various sales type jobs, and then as an estate agent before joining the police. I’m educated but I don’t have a degree or any trade qualification. In late 2000s, I moved to Bermuda which comes under the UK, where I worked as a Police Officer and ultimately, where I met my wife. We now have three lovely young children under 10 years. But we had a dream.

2. Have you ever lived in the US before? If so, under what circumstances? If not, what aroused your interest in a move to the US?

Having both frequently visited the USA we knew what an awesome land of opportunity for a young family it represents. Additionally, the cost of living is much lower than in the UK in so many ways. So the question was, could it be possible that we could ever move to the USA? Surely not?

3. How did you decide to pursue an E2?

Then one day whilst surfing the internet for information about US Immigration options, I stumbled across The Law Offices of Chris Ingram, as maybe you have too. I saw that Chris offered a free initial consultation, what did I have to lose!? So I sent off an inquiry and a few hours later the phone rang and it was Chris’ office to arrange the call with an E2 Visa Lawyer. From that moment on, I knew me and my family were in safe hands.

4. What was your experience with the E2 petition process?

Don’t get me wrong, the E2 Treaty Trader process is complex and full of detail but the way Chris has it set up they just takes you through it step-by-step and stage-by-stage to ensure that each of the E2 Visa Requirements are satisfied with proper evidence. Most things are done online, you upload information as you get it together and the all videos are there on their customized case management system to assist you along the way, and everything is covered. It felt like someone was sitting there holding my hand and guiding me through it!

5. What were some of the challenges you had to work on in the preparation of your case, for example evidence gathering?

It takes time, but it’s all stuff you can get together. Having been through the whole process, the better prepared you get in the early stages, the easier the whole thing goes. Probably getting the financial information from the banks was the most challenging for me of the E2 Visa Investment Amount Requirement. Start early!

6. What kind of relationship did/do you have Chris and his team?

Amazing. If I sent them an email, they replied. If I needed to speak to someone on the phone, they answered. I’ve never known anything like it! And I’ve been around the block a few times. At no stage whatsoever did I feel anything other than that my case was the most important thing they had going on. I’d pick three words to describe Chris and his team; caring, attentive and knowledgable. In fact I would add three more, value for money.

7. What were you doing when you found out you were approved? What was your immediate reaction? How did/will you celebrate?

I had just finished work. I called my wife. I went for a cold beer.

8. What are you looking forward to most about moving to the US?

We have been here for over a year now, the kids are settled into a great school system and petrol is less than $1.70 a gallon. What’s not to like?

9. What will you miss the most about your home country?

I now know in life that people are the same the world over, so you just find your way in a new community and put your roots down. We live in South West Florida, so to answer the question, it’s hills.

10. What advice would you give to any immigrant considering an E2 or who is already in the process?

My best E2 Visa Tips would be to spend your time researching your E2 Visa businesses for your application, and let Chris Ingram and his team of US Immigration Lawyers, take care of the rest. The journey you are considering won’t be without challenges, but to repeat myself, you’ll be in safe hands. So if you’re saying to yourself that it’s surely not possible for you. It surely is. I’m proof of that. Good luck.
