 EB1 Green Card Success – Success is Life Changing. Very few people really understand what getting a green card really means. When you get a green card you are given the right to live in the US for life. No more visa applications, no more worries about being let back in the US after you leave for a break. With a green card you have been given the status of a permanent resident alien. You are on your way to US Citizenship, which takes five years, and then once you become a US Citizen you can never lose that status no matter what. So until you attain green card status you are in limbo and this is never a good status to be in long term when you have children. Its great to get on any visa to enable you to spend time in the US, but if you have fallen in love with America then the green card is the ring on the finger.
