What kind of relationship did/do you have Chris (and his team)?

I had a very good, honest, open and direct relationship with Chris and Lindsey throughout the process – responsive, articulate, clear and concise in the plan and detailed in it’s execution – throughout a long process which can be stressful, we have continually maintained a strong relationship – we have managed good-humor and optimism throughout the challenging time !

What were you doing when you found out you were approved? What was your immediate reaction? How did you celebrate?

I fully remember the moment I received the call from Lindsey, on behalf of herself and Chris, to let me know that the application for my EB1 had been successful – I was actually sitting in a Pizza Restaurant in London, talking to my friend, Deirdre  about my visa situation – I had recommended Chris to Deirdre for an EB1 green card and Chris took care of securing her green card and she now lives in New York – such a coincidence that we were together when I got the news ! … to celebrate we had a glass of Californian white wine !

What are you looking forward to the most about moving to the US? 

I am so looking forward to the new opportunities which await for me on my permanent move to the USA in terms of career and my personal life – working with a new set of people and situations as well as making new friends -developing my skills and experiences by exploring the opportunities ahead! It really has been my focus and wish for so long that I really intend to take the opportunity and make the very best of it , in all areas of my life , in the future…

What will you miss the most about the United Kingdom?

There are many things I will miss about London – the sheer architectural beauty of the city, the amazing theatre, true great friends & English Tea, but I am very excited to explore the equivalent in the USA – and I do love Coffee !

What advice would you give to any immigrant considering an EB1 or who is already in the process?

The advice that I would give is to persist – it is a long road and it is challenging , you need to put in the hard work with Chris , Lindsey and the team at Ingram Law , remembering the focus and the ultimate goal ! it can be a long road , but being awarded the EB1 will allow you to appreciate that journey even more , as , hopefully a new journey to the USA begins !
