EB1- Data Security Expert
EB1 Green Card Success: What I absolutely love about this case was that fact that Martin had no clue that he was qualified and eligible for an EB1 green card. Martin was simply doing his professional job as an Information Security Manager and simply by excelling in his career he elevated himself into becoming an alien of extraordinary ability. So when I get introduced to people like Martin it always gives me great pleasure to tell them that all of their career hard work was about to pay off in an amazing way. Most mid-level professionals will take on average about seven years to work their way up the immigration ladder into a green card opportunity, but for people like Martin it can take less than seven months. Make no mistake putting successful EB1 cases together takes a tremendous amount of hard work on the part of the client and on the part of the legal team assembled to make this happen. Martin was an absolute joy to work with because he was as professional in working up his EB1 green card case as he was in his professional life. If you think you have what it takes to qualify for an EB1 green card give us a call and let’s see what we can achieve together.

Martin’s Story
I am from Guildford in South East England. I am the Information Security Manager for a large multi national mining company, having previously worked for the largest UK general merchandise retailer in a similar role for 16 years.
I have never lived in the US before, but have visited on many occasions since 1990, primarily visiting California and Florida, with occasional trips to New York and other states. Some good friends emigrated over 20 years ago transferring on a company move. We have eventually decided to put the effort in and join them in California.
It was during this time that Chris asked me several questions allowing him to provide the options on Visa or Green Card routes through the immigration process. As my goal was Green Card, Chris suggested that I could achieve this through an EB1 if I was prepared to put in the effort.
I never considered giving up, but there were times when it was proving hard to find all the required documentation and evidence. As there is a dependency on others to provide reference material, it is often difficult to keep things going at a fast pace. These people are required to spend a fair amount of time providing information, and as this is essentially a free service or favor to you, it is hard to encourage them to speed up at times. However with some gentle nudges every now and again and the occasional beer, all the required information came in.
I dealt with a few members of the team throughout the process, primarily Lindsey, Joe and Elizabeth. I actually only needed to speak with Chris at the beginning but knew he was involved throughout the process. Everyone was very kind, polite and professional. Always on time and very responsive including making numerous phone calls to me at my convenience. I found the team very knowledgeable and eager to please at all times. I often sought advice and guidance on subjects including the EB1 process, but also for my two children (over 21) and the team was happy to explain their options.
I researched a number of other immigration attorneys before selecting Chris. With little comparison, Chris and his team were able to provide so much more information and case studies than any of the other attorneys I spoke to or researched. Chris was realistic not speculative. He told you all the costs, the detail of the work you were required to put in and gave no promise that was not within his power to give. I felt he was very honest and professional and have never had a doubt about his intention to get me that Green Card from beginning to end.
I was actually at work at the time Lindsey rang me. I was expecting the decision some time that week, so when I received a phone call at a rather early time in the day, I had a feeling that this was the moment. I almost didn’t answer in case the news was not positive. However I’m rather glad I did. The feeling was like getting your exam results all over again. What a relief. All that hard work paid off.
What I’m looking forward to most of all is a new way of life, a preferable climate and the chance to live that dream of being located in an idyllic location. Looking forward to being able to participate in our hobbies and sports and spending more time outdoors.
Close family will be an initial miss, but I expect to see more of my not so close friends as they all come to visit.
If Chris tells you that you have a case, then keep going because he can make it happen. You’ll be surprised at how good you can feel, and just how much you have achieved in your life already once you’ve written it all down.
