Tell me about where you are from and a little bit about what you do?
I was born and raised in India, moved to the UK in 2006 and settled there with my wife and two lovely kids. Engineering has always been my passion and that has motivated me to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) in Mechanical engineering. I have gained vast theoretical knowledge and practical experience in power generation, turbo machinery, bearings, and heat exchangers in the last 14 years of my professional career.
Throughout my career, I contributed towards engineering innovations with several patents and product developments for distinguished organizations. I am a certified Chartered engineer, awarded by the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and an active professional member of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
Why do you want to live in America? What’s so special about America?
We visited the USA back in 2019 and I travelled around the country visiting family and friends. I learned about the vast career opportunities available in the USA for my profession. That trip influenced me to start working towards moving to the USA for better and brighter career prospects. After going through this application process, I truly believe the USA is a land of opportunity for science and technology.
What was your visa choice and how did you come to that decision?
I did my own research on law firms and applied for a free consultation through the Law Offices of Chris M. Ingram’s website for the O1 visa category. The post consultation report suggested that I was a better fit for an EB1. Speaking to the intake specialist, my thorough research and the benefit of EB1 compared to O1 made me apply for this category. I was not sure at the beginning that my profile would qualify but the team reassured me that my achievements were apt for this category.
How would you describe your experience in working with us?
Honestly, I was really worried about my application but my case worker Stuti always reassured me. It was a very slow process to get to the application stage. Patience was key.

What were some of the evidence challenges you had to work on in the preparation of your case?
I didn’t face any challenges to prepare the case as my profile and qualifications were a good fit. All of the references and critical role letters from my previous and current employer were in place as per the EB1 requirements.
What were you doing when you found out you were approved? What was your immediate reaction? How did/will you celebrate?
I was talking to my wife regarding my application and coincidentally I received an email notification from USCIS with an approval notice. I jumped out of joy (which literally woke our toddler up from his nap). I was very pleased with the result. I consider it a huge achievement which leads to the next phase in my professional and personal life.

Yes, I would definitely recommend your services. Your team was very supportive and reassuring throughout the lengthy application process and always kept me informed of the progress.
