The Logistical Entrepreneur: Marc’s O1 to EB1 Triumph
Marc’s Journey
Marc, born in Manchester, built an international career in logistics after studying and traveling across 30 countries. His eye for detail led him to develop breakthroughs in data-security logistics, global consumer-product distribution and even the transport of tropical fish—earning him awards, recognition and the title “The Logistical Entrepreneur.”
He fell in love with the U.S. at age 12, later studied in San Diego and worked in Indiana. The country’s entrepreneurial spirit and quality of life aligned perfectly with his ambitions.
Choosing the O-1
A previous law firm mishandled his first O-1 petition, leaving out critical evidence and causing a denial. Still determined to pursue his dream job in the U.S., Marc found the Law Offices of Chris M. Ingram. After reviewing his accomplishments, our team confirmed the O-1 was still the right path—he simply needed stronger evidence and proper presentation.
Marc gathered new documentation, secured high-level references and worked closely with our team to rebuild the case. His O-1 was approved in about a week with premium processing and no RFE. Later, our firm also secured his EB-1 green card.
Working With Our Firm
Marc describes his experience with Lindsey and the team as a complete transformation. After his prior negative experience, he appreciated having a firm that believed in his work, answered questions promptly and presented his achievements clearly for USCIS.
Challenges
The toughest part was securing references from CEOs and executives, along with waiting for certain industry recognitions. With persistence and the right strategy, the evidence came together powerfully.
Approval Moment
Marc received the approval while in Vienna after a meeting. He called his family before opening the email, and seeing the word “approved” was an unforgettable moment. He flew home to England the next day to celebrate.
Looking Ahead
He is excited to finally begin his dream role in the U.S., enjoy the outdoor California lifestyle and reconnect with friends—while still visiting home for family, his dog and a proper English cup of tea.
Marc’s Advice
“Never give up. Stay persistent, collect exactly the evidence the firm requests and trust the process. With the right team, it can happen.”
