The EB-1 Green Card is designed for individuals who are at or near the top of their profession. US Immigration refers to these applicants as “Aliens of Extraordinary Ability.”
So how do you prove extraordinary ability? The way to demonstrate your level of extraordinary ability is by being able to satisfy specific criteria. For example, winning a major internationally recognized award (like a Nobel Prize) would make you an obvious candidate.

But don’t worry—you don’t need a major award to qualify.
