Tell me about where you are from and a little bit about what you do?

I am originally from India where I completed my early schooling and bachelors degree. I was one of the first to venture out to try and gain more exposure from globalization. Since I was very motivated to pursue my studies in the United States I moved here and finished my Masters in Microelectronics Engineering focused on semiconductor fabrication and technology.  From there on, I have been involved in the semiconductor manufacturing & supply chain sector and I am currently as the Head of Engineering for a semiconductor supply chain organization. I am responsible for leadership, management, directing the supply chain operations, automation and technology research.

Why do you want to live in America? What’s so special about America?

Semiconductors are the brains of contemporary electronics, allowing innovations crucial to economic development, national security, and worldwide competition. Semiconductors have fueled developments in communications, computers, health care, military systems, transportation, clean energy, and a plethora of other fields. Being able to serve and thrive in the semiconductor ecosystem is what the United States has enabled for me, driving cutting edge improvements in the field of technology. One key note on America — you are valued and recognized for your hard work and efforts and you are able to truly advance yourself to higher echelons of the organization.

What was your visa choice and how did you come to that decision?

I already have an EB-2 approved. However, for a country like India, the wait time is over a decade. With no changes happening to current green card laws and with huge backlogs I fundamentally believed that my credentials were worth reviewing for the Outstanding Talent (EB1) category Green Card. That’s when I started looking for other options. Given my credentials I contacted the Law Offices of Chris M. Ingram about the possibility of an EB1 Filing. The assessment came through and the Ingram team determined that I easily qualified for the EB1 category.

How would you describe your experience in working with us?

I have a great working relationship with Chris and his team. Chris understands the entire immigration and legal processes and explains everything clearly. Adriana and Rolando have been managing most of my case and know every word of immigration law like the back of their hands. Adriana was easily accessible by phone and email to address all of my questions. Asli Levison provided me with an honest assessment of what was accessible and what had to be obtained for my situation during the initial phone conversation. They have the ability to emphasize my accomplishments in ways that I had not previously considered. Every discussion we had after that was in keeping with that approach, and any adjustments were supporting the initial strategy for my EB1 application.

What were some of the evidence challenges you had to work on in the preparation of your case?

This was the moment for me to fit all the puzzle pieces together when it came to satisfying the requirements of the different categories. There were days when I was ecstatic because I had found all of the necessary papers for a specific category, and days when I couldn’t even find the ones I sought. I ended up exploring different approaches, and in some cases working to retrieve the case’s missing components. This meant that my evenings, nights, and weekends were all taken up with work. I was able to have the necessary stuff in place on time because my wife was very supportive of my efforts.

What were you doing when you found out you were approved? What was your immediate reaction? How did/will you celebrate?

I was at work when I received a text message informing me that there had been an update on my case. I checked my inbox and discovered that my case had been approved. I quickly called my wife to let her know about the fantastic results. We were both overjoyed that our efforts had paid off. My wife and I celebrated the rest of the day at home.

Would you recommend your family and friends and why?

In my opinion, Chris and his colleagues have a great understanding of immigration problems and the ability to get the job done properly. I would recommend Chris M Ingram’s law practice to anyone who is serious about their case and getting results.
