Tell me about where you are from and a little bit about what you do?
I’m from Eritrea and living in Andorra right now. I’m a professional cyclist riding for Team EF Education EasyPost.
Why do you want to live in America? What’s so special about America?
As we all know America is a good place to live. America is such a big country with different altitudes and weather so that it’s better for me to do various types of training, e.g. Colorado mountains, California and other states also. My future goals while living in America are to open a bike shop while advancing my professional cyclist career.
What was your visa choice and how did you come to that decision?
My visa choice was EB1 green card, which I qualified for due to the awards I have won for cycling among other things. I wanted this visa as it would enable me to move to the USA permanently.
How would you describe your experience in working with us?
It was great to work with all the Chris M Ingram team. They work hard and reply to any questions on time. They are very efficient staff.
What were some of the evidence challenges you had to work on in the preparation of your case?
To provide my Final Merits documents was challenging and took a lot of time.
What were you doing when you found out you were approved? What was your immediate reaction? How did/will you celebrate?
I was really shocked and confused: I can’t believe all the hard work paid off. I called my brother who is living in Dallas, Texas and I just said “Hey bro I am on my way to the USA!”
Would you recommend your family and friends and why?
Yes, I recommend all my relatives and friends to just contact the Attorney and try your best.
