Tell me about where you are from and a little bit about what you do?

I am from India. I primarily work in Cybersecurity securing organizations across the globe by contributing to better cyber practices and improving posture.

Why do you want to live in America? What’s so special about America?

I always wanted to work in Cybersecurity, and America was one of the major innovation hubs for this sector. I came here as a student to study and learn more. This opportunity translated to working for one of the big banks, and then I realized how I could apply what I learned and innovate better. Now, as a seasoned professional I feel there is tremendous opportunity in the space.

What was your visa choice and how did you come to that decision?

When I did switch to my first job in the US, I had an H1B visa. As I spoke to my friends and colleagues I realized that I might qualify for EB1 but I think I really needed someone who was qualified to tell me and advise me better. I turned to Law offices of Chris M. Ingram and I feel extremely happy that I did.

How would you describe your experience in working with us?

I think it was a great experience; the guidance I obtained from the step-by-step walkthrough, and using the portal made working very easy. I feel as though I am moving through a very organized system thus making it very easy to navigate and understand. Working with Sanjay, Annie, Judith, Terri, Eileen, Gladys and Victoria has been great, all of them did their part to help with this case. I especially want to acknowledge Sanjay, my case worker, who made every effort to be available when I needed to speak with him.

Cybersecurity professional hard at work

What were some of the evidence challenges you had to work on in the preparation of your case?

I received an RFE but decided to refile. I think this goes back to believing in yourself, and having trust in the Law Offices of Chris M. Ingram on how well the case is built. I decided that refiling was the best course of action.

What were you doing when you found out you were approved? What was your immediate reaction? How did/will you celebrate?

I think this was a fantastic moment. It was the 23rd of December, 2 days before Christmas, and there was a snow storm all over the country. I was playing with my 2-year-old, and then he said my phone chimed and got me the phone. I had just had a conversation with my wife, telling her that I did not expect my case to move forward until the New Year. Then my son got me the phone, and when I read it I was ecstatic. It was a magical moment. I had to read it many times to convince myself it was real. Afterwards, we celebrated it with a delicious dinner.

Would you recommend your family and friends and why?

Absolutely, I never thought I would be applying for an EB1 and always thought it was meant only for someone who won the Olympics; I never thought this would be reachable. I am thankful for the Law Offices of Chris M. Ingram for instilling confidence that I could do it, and also for the meticulous preparation that made it successful.
