Part 3: Employment Based Immigration
Introduction to U.S. Immigration
Launch Your U.S. Career with Employment-Based Immigration
Your Gateway to the American Dream
Welcome back to the Law Offices of Chris M. Ingram’s U.S. Immigration relocation series! Unlock your future in the U.S. through three powerful pathways: Family Sponsorship (via close relatives), Employment Sponsorship (leveraging your skills), or Self-Sponsorship (based on talent, investment, or humanitarian need). In this video, we spotlight employment-based immigration options, showcasing how your qualifications can open doors to thriving in the U.S.
Explore Employment-Based Green Cards
Seize your opportunity with these dynamic employment-based Green Card categories:
EB-1 Green Card: Showcase Extraordinary Talent
The EB-1 Green Card is your ticket if you’re a standout with exceptional abilities, a tenured professor, researcher, or corporate executive. With 40,000 Green Cards available annually, this elite category is perfect for top-tier talent ready to make their mark in the U.S.
EB-2 Green Card: Leverage Advanced Degrees
Got a PhD, Master’s, or professional law degree (equivalent to a U.S. doctorate)? The EB-2 Green Card is for you. With 40,000 slots each year, this category rewards advanced education and opens a clear path to permanent residency.
EB-3 Green Card: Thrive as a Skilled Professional
The EB-3 Green Card targets skilled professionals with a two-year qualification (like Registered Nurses) or a bachelor’s degree. Highly competitive with 40,000 annual slots, demand often outstrips supply, leading to wait times over five years. Employers may struggle to hold positions unless you’re already working with a work permit or visa. Let us guide you to success!
H-1B Graduate Visa: Your Stepping Stone
The H-1B visa is a game-changer for professionals with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, offering 65,000 visas annually, plus 20,000 more for U.S. advanced degree holders. Challenges include:
-
A fast-filling quota opening April 1st, often closing within weeks.
-
Standing out to employers, easier if you’re already in the U.S.
Many start as F-1 students, building connections through studies, job fairs, and temporary work permits, paving the way to H-1B and eventually EB-1, EB-2, or EB-3 Green Cards. We’ll help you navigate this journey!
O-1 Visa: Celebrate Your Extraordinary Ability
The O-1 visa is your opportunity if you’re at the top of your field in arts, sciences, education, business, or athletics. High earners (around $150,000+ annually) in corporate roles or creative industries like film, media, entertainment, or fashion often qualify. Actors, producers, designers, or behind-the-scenes leaders can shine by showcasing significant achievements, even in less lucrative fields. Best of all? No annual cap means you can apply anytime, free from quota worries. Our expert team specializes in crafting O-1 visa applications to highlight your unique talents and secure your U.S. future.
