EB5 Green Card Part 2 – Quick Run Through EB5 Green Card Requirements:
Welcome to the Law Offices of Chris M. Ingram. We are delighted that you have joined us for Part 2 in our video presentation series on the EB5 Investment Based Green Card. In this section we’ll take a quick look at the four pathways to EB5 success. Ok, Let’s get started.
Option 1 EB5 Green Card By Investing $500,000 Into a Federally Designated Regional Center (FDRC)
When you invest in a Federally Designated Regional Center, you will have no further responsibility after the investment is made. The FDRC has the responsibility of making sure that your investment is used to create jobs so that you can enjoy your American Dream without the worry of running a business.
Option 2 EB5 Green Card By Investing $500,000 in Your Own Start-Up Business in a Targeted Employment Area
In order to qualify for this option you must start your business in either a rural area, or a metropolitan area with a high rate of unemployment. This second option is great if you are looking to start a business and you are flexible as to where the business can be located.
Option 3 EB5 Green Card By Investing 1 Million Dollars into Your Own Business
The one million dollar investment opportunity is a great option for EB5 investors who can start or develop their own business. By investing one million dollars you can locate your business anywhere you wish.
Option 4 EB5 Green Card By “The Business Rescue” or “Troubled Business” Program
US Immigration provides incentives and has more relaxed requirements when an EB5 Investor, chooses to invest in a business that is currently experiencing financial difficulties, known as a “Troubled Business.” This type of EB5 investment is beneficial to clients who wish to use their business and financial skills to save an American business without the pressure of creating 10 full time jobs, and the steep capital investment requirements.
Before we close out this presentation, let’s recap.
There are four ways to qualify for the EB5 Investment Green Card: –
- Investing $500K in an FDRC
- Investing $500K High Unemployment Area
- Investing One Million Dollars In Your Own Business
- Investing to Rescue a Troubled Business
In the next presentation we’ll discuss the first of the EB5 investment green card options;
1) Investing $500K in an FDRC
