EB5 Green Card Part 4 – Investing $500K in a Targeted Employment Area:

What is a Targeted Employment Area?

A Targeted Employment Area is an area that has been designated by US Immigration, at the time of filing to be either:

(1) A rural area, or

(2) An area, which has experienced high unemployment, specifically an area that has experienced an unemployment rate that is at least 150 percent of the national average.

Contact our office for guidance so we may confirm if the area you have chosen has been classified as a “Targeted Employment Area.”

Why Should I Invest in a Targeted Employment Area?

Investing in a Targeted Employment Area can be advantageous because the investment capital required is $500K and not the one million dollars normally required.
